15th Week (September 08-12)

In this week, we started tackling the three different methods in JavaScript.

Now, I shared an information about what I have learned in this week.

JavaScript uses dialog boxes to interact with the users. The dialog boxes are created with three methods:
alert ()
prompt ()
confirm ()

Alert Box- method creates a little independent box-called a dialog box--which contains a small triangle with an exclamation point. A user-customized message is placed after the triangle, and beneath it, an OK button. When the dialog box pops up, all execution is stopped until the user presses the OK button in the pop-up box.
Example: alert (It's Superman!")

Prompt Box- often used if you want the user to input a value before entering the page. When a prompt box pops up, the user will have to click either "OK" or "CANCEL" to proceed after entering an input value. If the user click "CANCEL" the box returns null.


Example: prompt ("What is your name? ", name);


Using the JavaScript prompt box

Confirm Box- used to confirm a user's answer to a question. A question mark will appear in the box with an OK button and a Cancel button. If the user presses the OK button, true is returned; if he presses the Cancel button, false is returned. This method takes only one argument, the question you will ask the user.

Dissapointed

14th Week (September 01-05)

For this week, Sir Peralta announced that we have a quiz again. Hooo! -___-

I was really dissapointed, exactly dissapointed! -__-

And if you are asking for what is my score? As what I expected, zero again. Hahaha!

On the next day, we had a surprise quiz about JavaScript I. The surprise quiz is 20 items and my score is 3. Well you can't blame me, I'm too lazy to review. :3

After that, we just start encoding the JavaScript Part II.

13th Week (August 25-29)

This week, we've just continued tackling the JavaScript Variables.


Variables- fundamental to all programming languages. They are data items that represent a memory storage location in the computer. Variables are containers that hold data such as numbers and strings.



Sir Peralta gave us an activity about Variables. As usual, I don't know what to do. So, another zero for me. Hahaha! :D

On the other day, Sir Peralta gave us again an activity in which we should place the text inside a table. Again and again, another zero for me. Ehe, ehe! :)

An Introduction to JavaScript

12th Week (August 18-22)

For this week, Sir Peralta introduced the JavaScript Part II lesson.

JavaScript- popular general-purpose scripting language used to put energy and pizzas into otherwise dead Web pages by allowing a static page to interact with users and respond to events that occur on the page. JavaScript is not HTML nor Java.

I'm being hopeless!

Eleventh Week (August 11-14)

Sir Peralta give already the grade of our blog. My grade in blog is... 85, my rank is 33. Gosh! I'm being hopeless! And as what I expected, Winniedy got the highest grade in blog. I envy Winniedy. :)

Also, Sir Peralta announced that we have a long quiz. The first came up to my mind was like "again?!" -__- even if I read many times about positioning, layers, ID's, etc. I really don't understand. Gosh!

On the next day, we already starting encoding the JavaScript. When I'm typing, I'm confusing but I continued to encode of what is in the handouts.

9 Minute Exam

Tenth Week (August 4-8)

We just checked all the outputs we encode in the whole 2 months. But unfortunately I forgot that my two outputs is not in the proper folder. Arggghh.


For the third day, this is it, the 1st Periodical Examination Day in ICT IV. I don't have to review about CSS because I don't have any notes. We only have 9 minutes to answer the 30 difficult questions. I was shocked when I'm at the first batch to exam but I'm a little bit happy because all the items are multiple choice. When the time start to take the exam, my hands starting shaking and I'm really nervous. I am on rush! I just finished  my exam in just 8 minutes but I reread it again to make sure that my answer is correct.
When Sir Peralta, checking my answer I feel nervous if my score out of 30  my score is 5 or I'm the lowest score. Then Sir Peralta show my score... gosh my score is 14. But I realized that I'm going to be contented on my score atleast I'm not the lowest score.

Exam

We only have 3 classes in this week because Thursday and Friday is the Periodical Division Test. :)

Ranking

Ninth Week (July 28- August 01)

For this week, we just finished our eight blog entries. I just can't imagine I rate 43 blog and give them feedback too in just 3 days. Well, you can't blame me for not finishing to rate 43 blog because we don't have computer nor laptop in our home. At first, I really don't know  how to do the averaging but with the help of my other classmate I just know but when I reached the ranking I don't have any idea how to rank so I just computed it manual to finished on time. I'm so thankful I finished ranking 43 blog, now I have a lot of time to the other school works to finished all. :)
